ABOUT:

Founded in 2003, the Symphony of the Americas Society supports the Symphony of the Americas through special fund-raising events to ensure that world-class music continues to thrive in South Florida and enrich the lives of our community through the wonderful power of music.

The Society has established itself as a force majeure in our community. Its purpose is to encourage and promote the growth of cultural interests and educational activities in the fine arts, according to the guidelines of the Symphony of the Americas, for which it is the support arm.

Guided by a Board of Broward County’s most respected arts supporters, the Society continues the prestigious fund-raising social events that have been a tradition in South Florida and develops new and exciting activities looking toward continuing success. The Society also helps provide the volunteer personnel to assist in the plans, projects, and policies of the Symphony of the Americas.

The Society welcomes lovers of the arts, reaching out with friendly arms to its members – whether they are long term residents or newcomers to our community. The organization is perpetuated by the strength of its leadership and its members, who have made a remarkable difference in the Society’s work.

MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of the Society is to build an organization of women and men to support the mission and goals of the Symphony of the Americas, building broad-based public awareness, fundraising and building and sustaining membership in the Society.
