Mad Hatter Charity Fashion Show
The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation Mad Hatter Fashion Show and Luncheon featured Bloomingdale’s Best of Fall 2015 Designer Collections and benefited the MSF as models strolled down the runway 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6 in the beautiful Panorama Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six, 2301 S.E. 17th St.
“Our hats off to Bloomingdale’s and to our fashionable supporters,” said Development Director Nathalie Sloane of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. “This was one of the most delightfully heady events we’ve presented this year. We’re already receiving enthusiastic response to the fanciful theme, cherished by so many who, regardless of their age, are still young at heart.” Sloane added, “While we put on many events throughout the year that receive wonderful support from the South Florida community, this event in particular has generated tremendous excitement. It was so much fun – and a gem to behold!”
Guests wore hats designed by the very talented milliner, FeatherHeart Designs by Dannielle Kukar (FeatherHeartDesignsbyDannielle.com). Dannielle’s custom-made hats have been a media sensation as the notable accessories tend to steal the show, adding that personal touch, style, and flare to wardrobes favored by fashion critics.
In addition to the cool weather clothing designs and unique hats, was a special musical performance by Symphony of the Americas, Broward’s own professional orchestra.
The honoree is Patrick Daoud, of Daoud’s Fine Jewelry, was recognized for his philanthropic dedication to the mission of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. This memorable event featured a Mad Hatter Cake designed by AllStarCupcakes.com, and also served cupcakes and tea along with a signature drink by Pravda Vodka. Kendra Scott held a mystery jewelry pull with each box containing different varieties of jewelry. There was a raffle for a two-night stay at iconic South Beach Gale Hotel (galehotel.com).
All net proceeds benefit the MSF’s programs and services provided to MS patients and their caregivers nationwide.
