Ultimate Software Strikes it BIG at the 2016 Bowl for Kids’ Sake Fundraiser

Before a sold-out crowd at SpareZ and with the support of a new title sponsor, Ultimate Software, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward, the donor-funded organization challenged everyone“BOWL for Kids’ Sake” on June 13, and they did just that! Community supporters, sponsors and friends came out to spend a few hours of pure fun, and bowl everything from Strikes and Turkeys to Spares and Gutter balls, everyone had a chance to enjoy themselves and be a kid again.
This years’ theme “Do Something Simply Super”saw more than 400 Super Bowlers fil the lanes at Sparez in Davie and the event brought $36,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters. “The funds raised at the tournament allow Big Brothers Big Sisters to carefully make more mentoring matches and provide ongoing assistance for mentors, mentees and families to help sustain long successful relationships unique to its programs”, said event Co-Chair and Big Brother of the Year, Chad Van Horn.
The tournament winners took home beautiful glass bowling pins which were awarded by the event Co-Chairs. Lowest individual score winner was won by John Bochak, and the overall lowest scoring team of the tournament was won by Team Gables Engineering.
