HAPPY WINTERFEST

“In late December of ’63 there was a very special night for me…” The Winterfest Black Tie Ball brought it’s guests back to the sights and sounds of the Four Seasons with the transformation of the ballroom.

It was THE signature event of Broward County’s social season, the Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest® Black Tie Ball – this year Presented by Ford!

This magnificent room and transformation of the Hard Rock Live is made possible by the generosity of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Guests didn’t have to be “Beggin’ ” for a cocktail as Taittinger Champagne, Beckon and San Angelo wines flowed – thank you to Republic National Distributing Company. One of the visual highlights was the Deep Eddy luge inside the Red Carpet Reception Presented by the Law Offices of Anidjar & Levine!

Congratulations to this year’s Belle of the Ball, “Heaven Must Have Sent You” Genia Ellis and Commodore “Big Man in Town” Ken Ortner. We were so happy to recognize these amazing board members who put Winterfest® and this community number one in their hearts.

Thank you to Fidelity Investments for sponsoring the Silent Auction and Fifth Third Bank, Official Bank of Winterfest, for the amazing swag bag guests received at the end of the night.

The evening was filled to the rim with glamor and glitz. Lisa Scott-Founds, President & CEO of Winterfest, Inc. wore a stunning dress from Zola Keller, this area’s top designer, and jewelry from Carroll’s Jewelers.

A special round of applause to Nicole Paoletti, Charlotte Vermaak and the Broadway Across America team for bringing of the hit Broadway Production “Jersey Boys” to the event.

“An event of this size and magnitude is an immense undertaking, and on behalf of Winterfest®, Inc., we would like to thank the Seminole Hard Rock team, they are the true definition of rock

stars! They are not just our Title Sponsor for the Parade, they are part of the Winterfest® family and are woven in the fabric of our South Florida community,” noted Lisa Scott-Founds. “A heartfelt thank you goes to our Ball Chairs Susan

Renneisen and Danielle Dattile, along with their amazing committee and my hard working team of Dawn “Go away – I’m no good for you” Read, “Big Girls Don’t Cry” Kathy Keleher, our “Little Darlin” interns Hannah, Layla and Meridith and “Who Loves You” Dolores Campbell.”

The night was a magical time to toast a magnificent start of the holiday season.
