Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Provides Backdrop
for Ann Storck Center Annual Benefit
Over 350 Attendees Gathered to Enjoy the 26th Annual Celebrity Chefs Food Tasting & Auction Fort Lauderdale, FL, Sept. 16, 2019 – The 26th Annual Celebrity Chefs Food Tasting & Auction benefiting Ann Storck Center was held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino – Hollywood. It was a magical evening of incredible food, entertainment and giving. More than 350 members of the business and philanthropic community joined the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Marcia and Joel Hochberg for an amazing tasting event in support of the Ann Storck Center.
The evening kicked off with a bustling cocktail hour of bites and
beer provided by Funky Buddha Brewery and a robust, competitive silent auction sponsored by Tobias Financial Advisors. Guests enjoyed stellar entertainment by dueling pianists Brandon Parsons and Nate Rodriguez while sampling unlimited tastes from 26 of Broward’s best restaurants, breweries and bakeries.
Ann Storck CEO, Terri Shermett, served as mistress of ceremonies and highlighted the broad spectrum and full face of the Center, showcasing its diverse and varied attributes in a highly charged and moving video.“Our annual Chefs event is a special evening dedicated to our generous community of donors and supporters – old and new – who keep us on track with vital, mission-related efforts. We are indebted to our generous partners, sponsors, chefs and restaurants. We are so blessed to be part of a community that shows up for one another,” offered Terri.
The evening program also featured the Marvin Gutter Leadership Awards, presented to outstanding advocates and supporters of the Center. Honorees included Alan and Joan Ast, Former State Senator Rene Garcia, and Tobias Financial Advisors.
