LOCAL LEADING MEN WALKED THE RUNWAY IN SUPPORT OF 12 CHARITIES DURING THE GALLERIA’S ALPINE JAGUARMEN OF STYLE
As many as 1,000 of Broward’s finest business and community leaders gathered for The Galleria’s Alpine Jaguar 10th Annual Men of Style Shopping Night presented by Signature Grand. The evening of food, fashion and fun recognized12 prominent South Florida men, each representing one of 12 participating charities: Phil Bullock (Women in Distress of Broward County), Adam Corin (HANDY), Louie Fernandez (Florida Children’s Theatre), Jon Gundlach (Henderson Behavioral Health), Jim Hammond (ArtServe), Jeremy Hayes (Broward Center for the Performing Arts), Tim Hogans (Leadership Broward Foundation), Rick Mijares (Jack & Jill Children’s Center), Steve Palmer (Kids in Distress), Dan Reynolds (Art and Culture Center/Hollywood), David Rubin (Take Stock in Children of Broward) and Tony Tella (ARC Broward).
“We are grateful for the overwhelming support of our signature event, which raised nearly $70,000 for local charities,” said Melissa Milroy, senior marketing manager at The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale. “The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale remains committed to the local community and we look forward to hosting this great event and others for years to come.”
VIP guests started the evening at Truluck’s for a wine and hors d’oeuvres receptionbefore enjoying the main event inside The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale. All guests enjoyeddelicious culinary delights and bar selections from P.F. Chang’s, The Capital Grille, Truluck’s, Blue Martini, Seasons 52, Sweeter Days Bake Shop, 26 Degree Brewing Co., Ceviche by the Sea, ARC Broward Culinary Institute, Beauty and the Feast, Ocean 2000 and Cucina Caruso’s Ristorante. Ultra VIP guests were treated to front row runway show seating, private bar access and an exclusive after-party at Blue Martini.
The highlight of the event was the high energy men’s runway showhosted by WSVN news anchor Diana Diaz. The entertaining show featured the 2016 Men of Style honorees modeling the latest fashions from Dillard’s and Macy’s.
As part of the stage presentation, Damian Polgar of Alpine Jaguar with a flight crew from Norwegian Air announced that Veda Coleman Wright was the random winner of a trip to London with roundtrip air for two on Norwegian Air and an exclusive tour of a Jaguar auto facility in England. Also, Art and Culture Center/Hollywood was announced as the recipient of an additional $1,000 from The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale for selling the most event tickets.
Event attendees received the exclusive Men of Style Shopping Night “Passport to Savings,” featuring store incentives valued at far more than the cost of the event ticket from select mall retailers and restaurants, including Ann Taylor, Cole Haan, Swarovski and others.
