During the evening’s program, Cindy Imperato, the chapter’s immediate past Board Chair and current Co-Event Chair, alongside Mobile Mike, media and entertainment extraordinaire, presented the 2021 Humanitarian Awards. This year’s Honorees were Dr. Angeleke Saridakis, local surgeon and Red Cross Tiffany Circle member; Tommy Demopoulos, Division Chief and Fire Marshal of Tamarac Fire Rescue Department; and Mobile Mike, owner of Mobile Mike Media & Entertainment.

All honorees embody the spirit of the Red Cross through their contributions to the welfare and quality of life of South Florida residents.

“We’re delighted to have this opportunity to honor our community heroes for their humanitarian efforts and I want to thank our local CEOs and celebrities who were auctioned to create some unique personal experiences that helped raise funds to support our mission in Broward County,” said Paula Prendergast, executive director for the Broward Chapter of the Red Cross.

During emergencies, the Red Cross provides shelter, food and comfort to assist families and entire communities in their time of need. All proceeds raised at this year’s Dine & Dock will support the Red Cross in providing relief and comfort to the Broward County community.
