This year’s event did not disappoint with attendance exceeding 600, the highest in more than a decade. Sponsorships and ticket sales revenue surpassed the goals set by event co-chairs, Debbie Levine, CFRE, SOS Children’s Villages – Florida, and Shannon Brown, Barry University. Total revenue of sponsorships and ticket sales exceeded our goals and were put towards educational and professional development programs for locally-based nonprofits and advancement professionals.
“I am humbled by the outpouring of financial, in-kind and human support we received for National Philanthropy Day this year,” said Shannon Brown. “These nine extraordinary honorees inspired our community to come together and celebrate the spirit of philanthropy. On behalf of the AFP Board of Directors, we would like to thank all of our generous sponsors. With special thanks to Arlene Pecora of the Signature Grand, our Presenting Sponsor, as well as to our Diamond Sponsors, Lorraine Thomas, the John S. and James L.
