2016 Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale Tribute honors Douglas Eagon

The 2016 Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale Tribute. Douglas Eagon, President of Stiles Corporation was honored for his role in the growth and development of Riverwalk Park and Downtown Fort Lauderdale at the Riverwalk Annual Tribute on March 31, 2016 at the Riverside Hotel.

“Doug Eagon is an extraordinary community and business leader who has dedicated himself to help plan and implement the vision of Downtown Fort Lauderdale as a livable, sustainable urban center,” says Courtney Callahan Crush, a member of the Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale board of directors. “Riverwalk is grateful for his service to our City and delighted to be able to celebrate Doug’s decades of community by honoring him at our 2016 Riverwalk Tribute.”
Doug Eagon has been a part of Stiles Corporation since 1981 and is now President of the corporation. During his tenure at Stiles, Eagon has had a hand in the construction of several buildings and projects including residential and retail buildings in downtown Fort Lauderdale. He is involved in many civic and community organizations and has served on or is currently serving on the boards for Fort Lauderdale’s Housing Authority, Planning and Zoning, Downtown Development Authority, and more. John Ropes, also a member of the Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale board of directors, calls Eagon “a viable participant in making Fort Lauderdale a vibrant community.”

The evening began with honored guests, sponsors and special ticket holders gathering for a VIP cocktail reception. Following the VIP reception, cocktails, hors d’eouvres and a special presentation held along with live entertainment, silent auction, raffles and prizes.
