About the Symphony of the Americas Society:

“Just completing its 27th season, the Symphony of the Americas, Broward’s own professional orchestra, was recently designated as one of just a handful of Broward County Major Cultural Institutions.  Since it was founded in 1987, the orchestra has experienced continuous growth, bringing the best of classical music to the multicultural population of South Florida.  The Broward Center for the Performing Arts has served as the performance home for the Symphony’s International Guest Artist Series since its performance for the Gala Opening Concert of the Amaturo Theate in 1991.”
