Schott Communities Hosts 2016 Models of Inspiration Fashion Show and Luncheon Honoring their Clients

On Friday, May 6, 2016, Schott Communities honored their exceptional clients at a sold-out event to raise funds for the important mission of the organization.  The Models of Inspiration Fashion Show & Luncheon was held at the Weston Hills Country Club. Schott clients modeled spring fashions provided by Dillard’s of Pembroke Pines, while ASM Beauty World Academy provided complimentary make-up application and hair styling respectively for the exuberant models. This inspiring event celebrated the determination and positive outlook on life of the Schott Communities special needs clients.  All proceeds support Schott’s programs and services offered to this deserving population.

Along with honoring the models this year, the 30th Anniversary year of Schott Communities was recognized. Schott Communities’ programs assist participants in developing skills for independent living, promote self-sufficiency, and provide social, recreational and spiritual opportunities to enhance their quality and enjoyment of life.  The agency continues to strive to create an environment of caring and dignity for persons who are deaf or disabled by encouraging and challenging them to grow in self-acceptance and independence.

Many thanks to this event’s sponsors: The Parello Family, Knights of Columbus Charities, The Cueli Family, Jose and Ana Rementeria, Shula Burger, Al and Ruth Tello, Bouquet Collections, Coldwell Banker, DJM Startime/The Event Group, Dillard’s of Pembroke Pines, Sr. Therese Roberts, O.P., Berry Piano Studio, Boyd Watterson Asset Management, Great Lakes Advisors, Harley Riak, Mike and Sandy Davis, Norman Lapierre, St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church, The Stephen Harold Schott Family Foundation at The Miami Foundation, and an Anonymous Donor.
