Multiple Sclerosis Foundation “BOCA’S GOT TALENT”

The City of Boca Raton proved that it does, in fact, have talent for the second year in a row. A sold-out crowd packed The Dubliner Irish Pub in Mizner Park on Monday, August 17th, for the annual “Boca’s Got Talent” showcase as part of Boca Chamber Festival Days.

This event drew a record number of attendees, including Mayor Susan Haynie, who was one of the esteemed judges. Other celebrity judges included Boca Tribune editor Pedro Heizer, ESPN sports anchor Emerson Lotzia, and local television and radio personality Andrea O’Campo.

The 3 big winners of the evening were: 11 year old singing sensation Ava Faith (1st place), Boca’s funniest dentist, “Dr. Dan” Greenstein, DDS (2nd place), and powerhouse vocalist TomeySellars (3rd place). Guests also enjoyed a lively performance by fifteen-year-old local entertainer Maggie Baugh, who sang and played guitar while the votes were being tallied. The event was co-hosted by Jon Sahn of Ascendant Planned Giving and Lori McQuestion (aka “Two Story Lori”) with TransMedia Group and sponsored by Plum Productions.

The event doubled in attendance as well as talent from last year and was a huge success! All of the proceeds from the night’s activities going to MSF’s programs and services. MSF would like to extend a special ‘Thank You’ to Ascendant Planned Giving, Plum Productions, The Dubliner Irish Pub, Kendra Scott, Touch Suite, Ebikes2you, Sunny 107.9, 97.9 WRMF, X102.3, 640AM Sports, ESPN 106.3, Media Gypsy, The Boca Raton Tribune, Boca Raton Bowl, Total Traffic &Weather Network, ILoveKickBoxing.com, and Flamingo Road Nursery.
