LifeNet4Families and Andy Cagnetta celebrate another successful year, raising over $180,000 at Andy’s 13th Annual Family Pasta Dinner!
On February 8th, Andy Cagnetta, CEO of Transworld Business Advisors, hosted a record-breaking Italian dinner that was attended by over 850 children and adults and raised in excess of $180,000 at Andy’s 13th Annual Family Pasta dinner benefitting LifeNet4Families.
At the event, Broward County Commissioner Chip LaMarca and Fort Lauderdale Vice Mayor, Romney Rogers proclaimed February 8th, 2015 as Andrew Cagnetta, Jr. day, in appreciation for his involvement and contributions to the community over the years. Commissioner LaMarca presented Andy with the prestigious key to Broward County.
Over the last 13 years, Andy’s Annual Family Pasta Dinner has raised in excess of $680,000 for the food insecure in Broward County. “To show our appreciation to the Cagnetta family and their ongoing efforts to decrease hunger in Broward County, LifeNet4Families’ announced the creation of the LifeNet4Families Andy and Allison Cagnetta Scholarship Fund, which will provide a scholarship award to a homeless high school senior, who despite their hardships, has excelled academically and has also given back to society through volunteerism”, said Melanie Geddes, President/CEO of LifeNet4Families.
