“An Evening by the Sea” Raises Funds for Birch State Park

The Friends of Birch State Park, Inc. hosted its 3rd Annual “An Evening by the Sea” event on Friday, March 23rd on the oceanfront lawn of Terramar, Hugh Taylor Birch’s home within the park, with 180 guests in attendance. In addition to cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and dinner, the event featured both silent and live auctions with Gordon Latz serving as auctioneer, an intriguing wine pull courtesy of Primo Liquors and Fine Wine and entertainment provided by the Mari Bell Trio.

This year’s honorees included the following community leaders:

  • Lorraine Thomas – “Birch Lifetime Achievement Award”
  • Carlos and Lisa Rodriguez – “Birch Legacy Award”
  • Winterfest, Inc. – “Birch Partnership Award”
  • Bryan Moser – “Birch Above and Beyond Award”
