Friends of Birch State Park – A Garden Party

“A Garden Party” Raises Funds for Hugh Taylor Birch State Park 

Fort Lauderdale, FL … The Friends of Birch State Park Hosted “A Garden Party” at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park at on October 25, 2017. This year’s event, chaired by Ginny Miller, raised funds to support the Friends of Birch State Park and its efforts to enhance the park. Proceeds raised were matched dollar for dollar up to $50,000 by an anonymous donor.

The Host Committee included: Mimi Bauer, Pamela Baynes, Nancy Blosser, Lori Chevy, Tracy Dunn, Lisa Scott-Founds, Peggy Fucci, Ginny Fujino, Karen Genovese, Alice Jackson, Janet Jordan, Lisa Kitei, Julie Saumsiegle, Jane Smith, Jamie Stiles, Nancy Thies and Ladonna Vieweg. Patrick Daoud of Daoud’s Fine Jewelry served as auctioneer.
