Let’s hear it for the girls!

PACE Center for Girls Broward hosted their 3nd Annual “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Brunch” at the Coral Ridge Yacht Club on Saturday, April 22nd. Over 150 women attended this fabulous event and proceeds supported counseling, academic and life skill services for girls ages 11-17.

Brunch guests had the opportunity to relax in a beautiful setting overlooking the Intra-coastal while they enjoyed a delicious mimosa brunch, chatted with girlfriends and shopped for items in the silent auction.  Fashion accessories, jewelry, spa certificates and high-end purses were all featured in the auction.

“Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” Co-Chairs were Lisa Tabin and Jene̒ Kapela and this year’s Honorary Event Chair was Allison Cagnetta. “We are strong supporters of PACE Center for Girls because the organization creates a supportive learning environment where girls are excited and engaged,” said Jené Kapela.  “Girls at PACE gain confidence and invaluable life skills, and they believe in their potential to be great. PACE teaches them and reminds us all girls matter.”

PACE Broward is grateful to our generous sponsors: Wärtsilä, Kapela Leadership Solutions, Memorial Healthcare System, and Shutts & Bowen as well as our underwriters: Suzette Bravo, Deborah Carman, Daoud’s Fine Jewelry, Rachel LeBlanc, Miami Dolphins Foundation, Denise Platz, Jose Manuel Romero, and Lisa Tabin for their support.
