On Saturday, August 13th, more than 4,000 students attended the 8th Annual Crockett Foundation Community Health Festival. At this free, open-to-the-public event, Broward County children were provided with free physical exams, immunizations, haircuts, shoes and backpacks filled with school supplies. The goal of the Festival was to educate families on the importance of maintaining good health and to promote positive lifestyle choices.

Notable guests at the event included Henri Crockett, former NFL Player and Founder of the Crockett Foundation, Zack Crockett, former NFL Player and Co-Founder of the Crockett Foundation, Eileen LaMarca, Executive Director of the Crockett Foundation, and Broward County Commissioner Chip LaMarca.
