17TH ANNUAL SIGNATURE GRAND GHOUL

Presented by Calvin Giordano & Associates

RAISES MORE THAN $65,000 FOR 2-1-1 BROWARD

the Signature Grand was transformed into a 100,000 square-foot haunted mansion for the 17th Annual Signature Grand Ghoul benefitting 2-1-1 Broward, Broward County’s hotline which connects residents with trained crisis specialists who assess the caller’s situation and provide the link to available community resources. The evening soiree was presented by Calvin Giordano & Associates and raised more than $65,000. Event hosts included: Former Miami Dolphin player O.J. McDuffie and Executive Director of the Jason Taylor Foundation, Seth Levit.

More than 700 people attended the event including Miami Dolphins alumni, other NFL alumni and local celebrities. Guests put on their dancing shoes for a night of music, costumes and cocktails. Arthur Marshall, Jocelyn Borgella, Frank Boudreaux, Ki-Jana Carter, Lamonte Coleman, Dr. Herve Damas, Travis Daniels, Kerry Glenn, Mark Higgs, Brian ‘Bo’ O’Neil, Daryl Porter, and Troy Drayton were among the football stars in attendance.

“Year after year, it is always an honor to be the benefactor of the annual Signature Grand Ghoul,” said Sheila Smith, President & CEO of 2-1-1 Broward. “The event truly brings the community together to raise funds for our 24-hour, comprehensive hotline in a fun spooky themed way. We are grateful for our sponsors and everyone who attended.”

Throughout the night, judges selected costume contest finalists based on costume creativity, fear factor and originality, with prizes going to first, second and third place winners. The silent auction, which featured more than 100 items including vacations and flight packages also contributed to the grand total raised for 2-1-1 Broward.

“2-1-1 Broward is a wonderful organization that impacts many lives in our community,” said Deanna McCutcheon, of Signature Grand. “We are grateful for the tremendous community support we received this year and we are honored to be this year’s title sponsor.”
