| Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale recognized Jorge Pérez as the 2017 Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale Tribute Honoree. Pérez is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Related Group. In this capacity Pérez has been vital to the growth and development of Riverwalk Park and Downtown Fort Lauderdale. The Riverwalk Annual Tribute was held on March 16, 2017 at the Riverside Hotel.
Pérez has been a driver for creative development in South Florida. His unique vision has made him sensitive to see the potential within cities. His experience in real estate enables him to develop that potential with enduring success. His influence spans across all South Florida. His projects in Fort Lauderdale include New River Yacht Club, The Manor Flagler Village and Las Olas Beach Club. Along with current projects -The Auberge Beach Residences & Spa and Icon Las Olas. Unique to Pérez’s approach to development is his integration of artwork. Including art within his development plans means Pérez enriches the community with both growth and culture.

The Tribute event began with honored guests, sponsors and special ticket holders gathering for a VIP cocktail reception. Following the VIP reception, cocktails, hors d’eouvres and a special presentation was held. In addition, there was live entertainment, a silent auction, raffles and prizes.
